Duplicate Records proudly presents the second full-length album from Russian / German atmospheric black / doom metal two-piece ABIGORUM, to be released April 13th 2021, in conspiracy with Satanath Records, Black Blood Records & Void Wanderer Productions. Duplicate Records will handle the LP version, Satanath Records & Black Blood Records will handle the CD versions, and Void Wanderer Productions will handle the MC version. The LP is exclusively available to preorder from Duplicate Records.

ABIGORUM was founded in St. Petersburg 2012 by Aleksey Korolyov, who was the sole member until 2019, when two musicians from Germany joined the band - Tino Thiele and Sandra Batsch. This line-up recorded the debut album 'Exaltatus Mechanism', released by Koryolov's own label Satanath Records.
In 2020, Batsch left the group and the remaining two-piece of Korolyov and Thiele recorded the second full-length 'Vergessene Stille'. After presenting the material to Duplicate Records, the band were swiftly signed to the label.
The music of ABIGORUM can best be described as epic black / doom metal with ambient elements. The raw production on 'Vergessene Stille" lends the material an obscure atmosphere, giving the album an otherworldly feeling. The lyrics, written in german, deal with death, human prejudice and the illusion that we are in control of our lives.
